About our monastery

Our founder of the monastery is Richard, he is Catholic. He started the Ecumenical Monastery which is Catholic Protestant Monastery for and helping LGBTQ people. But most Catholics are persecuted because of their sexual orientation. He saw how the Catholic Church treated him because he was gay. Then Richard thought there would be a Catholic home for Catholics who are homosexuals therefore he started the Catholic homosexual group. Then he founded the Ecumenical Monastery. Because he thought that everyone would be together in the same building to pray and to live within LGBTQ.

Everyone is welcome to our monastery. You do not need to be a believer or LGBTQ person to visit the monastery. Everyone is equally worthy of God's love. You can come as a guest and participate in the monastic life for a week in prayer and work.
